A historical mosque marking the Miqat point at Qarn al-Manazil.
Historical Significance
Situated in the Qarn al-Manazil area (modern-day Al-Sayl Al-Kabir), this site marks the Miqat for pilgrims coming from Najd and the East. It is narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) entered into the state of Ihram near a Sidra (Lote) tree at this location when returning from the siege of Taif to perform Umrah at Al-Ji'ranah. The mosque commemorates this Prophetic tradition.
